Who we are
DoorsOpen is a market-entry partner with offices at Grev Turegatan 30, 114 38 Stockholm, Sweden, and 83/4 Naraina Industrial Area Ph-1, Delhi 110028, India. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through this website. For privacy enquiries, contact johannes@doorsopen.in.
We handle personal information with regard to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, where applicable.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, company, website, email, any phone number you provide, your chosen direction and category, and your message. We also keep any package information you choose to share.
Checklist requests may include your email and other details you provide. A readiness check may include your answers and any contact details you choose to submit. Booking details are collected through Cal.com. Calculator values are sent to us only if you choose to include them with a booking; adjusting the calculator does not itself send those values to us.
Why we use your information
We use your information to reply to enquiries, understand your product and market question, prepare calls and send the information you asked for. We do not use your enquiry as permission to send advertising.
Our legal basis
We rely on your consent when you ask us to send particular information or voluntarily share details for that purpose. We also rely on legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and preparing relevant conversations, taking account of your rights and reasonable expectations. You may withdraw consent or object to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting us.
Providers who help us
Our hosting and database provider helps operate the website and store enquiries. Cal.com handles bookings, and our email provider handles email delivery when enabled. These providers process information for the relevant service, subject to their terms and applicable data-protection requirements. We share only what is needed for that service.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months unless you become a client. For clients, we retain relevant information for the duration of the engagement and for any period required by applicable law. You can request deletion sooner, subject to legal obligations and any information we need to retain lawfully.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies. If Google Analytics 4 is configured, it loads only after you accept analytics cookies. Google acts as an analytics processor. GA4 uses IP addresses during collection to derive approximate location; Google states it does not log or store individual IP addresses in GA4. This does not mean no data is transferred to Google. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation remain denied, and Google signals are disabled.
We store your analytics choice in your browser for 12 months. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice or withdraw consent by selecting Decline. Declining stops analytics collection on this site and removes its analytics cookies. No analytics banner or Google Analytics is loaded when analytics is not configured. Essential browser storage supports website operation and remembers whether the intro has been shown. Cal.com may use essential storage for bookings; its privacy information applies.
International transfers
Our work connects the EU and India, so enquiry and project information may need to be accessed by our teams in both markets and by relevant service providers. Where GDPR requires safeguards for a transfer outside the European Economic Area, the transfer must be covered by an applicable lawful mechanism, such as standard contractual clauses, together with any necessary assessment and additional protection. We limit access to people who need the information and use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the transfer.
Contact us if you would like details of the safeguards applicable to your information. This policy does not claim that India has an EU adequacy decision.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, or restriction of its use. You can object to processing, withdraw consent and request portability where applicable. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
You can complain to a relevant supervisory authority, including the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection where GDPR applies, or the relevant authority under applicable Indian data-protection law. You can also contact us first so we can address your concern.
Privacy requests
Email johannes@doorsopen.in with your request. We may need enough information to confirm your identity before sharing or changing personal information. We will handle requests in accordance with the requirements of the law that applies.
